I turned on a new show on Comedy Central this last week, Tosh.0. It's just a bunch of video clips from the internet hosted by some idiot that thinks he's funny. The clips they show are really in bad taste to begin with, ranging from an anorexic skeletal woman doing a dance to watching a girl take a face-plant into the asphalt when her boyfriend did a wheelie on a motorcycle. Thankfully she was wearing a helmet, but I'm sure the shorts and tank-top didn't help any.

Tosh, I guess that's his name, makes really bad jokes about this. Like, "HA HA HA! Her face is in the asphalt! She's got no chin anymore! HA HA HA!" Yeah... real funny.

But the icing on this cake came when Tosh reported on David Caradine's recent death. Again he busts out the seriously mean-spirited jokes, ripping into Caradine and the bizarre way in which he died. Then he asks with a smirk on his face, "Too soon?"

YEAH, ASSHOLE! IT IS TOO SOON! The funeral hasn't even been held yet. Caradine died on the 3rd or 4th. The show aired on the 11th. Barely even a week. So yeah, it *IS* too soon. Of course, someone as callous and just plain cold-hearted as the host of that show wouldn't realize that. It's all in the name of comedy, right? Except for one thing- his biggest crime is that for all his crude, vicious humor, Tosh fails to be funny at all. Not one laugh for the entire half hour that I sat through that crap. And it will be the *only* time I ever watch that crap.

Then I turn on Spike TV and they're showing Kill Bill. And every time they go to commercial they show a black and white photo of Caradine with his date of birth and death. No music. No commentary. Just a moment of silence for the man. It's really amazing to me, when Spike TV of all networks shows more class than... well any other basic cable network. But even Spike TV recognized that now was not the time for cruel jokes. Amazing.
